Working as a photographers assistant since 2005 I was fortunate enough to come into the profession at a very exciting time. Photographers then were slowly transitioning from film to digital. The experiences I had with film photography set a foundation that transgressed into the digital age.For me photography was a job that turned into a hobby, which turned into a passion. I believe anyone can be a photographer. With a few lessons one can control the camera settings to expose, frame, and compose for a good shot but it takes experience to master technique. Living in New York City I was blessed to be able to work with many wedding photographers/videographers (right). From each I learned something new and fused everything together to develop my own techniques.
